BIOGRAPHY
Nilesh Pithadiya (b. 1993) in Ahmedabad city, Gujarat, India and graduated with a B.Eng in Civil engineering.

From as early as he could remember, Nilesh has always been an emotional and highly sensitive individual. Inspired, touched and captivated by almost everything in his immediate surroundings.

He embraced his passion for Art at the age of 9 when he began to draw cartoons on his sketchbooks and for his elementary school friends and continued till Engineering Drawings in University.
Nilesh is a self-taught hyper-realistic graphite pencil artist who seeks to develop and improve his skills with each new work. He realised his intense interest in Hyperrealism in 2016, a contemporary genre in Art, after creating so many drawings using water-colors, pastels, pencil colors, mix media. Nilesh specialises in the use of Graphite & Charcoal Pencils on Paper as his medium of creating artworks he feels strongly for -- a kind of an emotional, spiritual and psychological connection and relationship that exist between him and his artworks.
Artist Statement
"My artworks are done in a hyper-realistic style, which is characterized by translating photographs into drawing with extreme attention to detail and an exaggeration of reality. But for me this style is not an end in itself but only a means to an end. With the translation of a photograph into a drawing I want to create additional levels.

I do not draw to attain the highest level of perfection but I draw to satisfy my insatiable lust for creativity. Every shade of graphite I leave on my paper feels like love making.

I find myself spending countless hours working on an artwork to stimulate deep and strong emotions in order to connect more intimately with my viewers."
